Mangonia Park, FL to Consider Proposed Utility Rate Increases

The Council will Hold a A Public Hearing for the Proposed Utility Rate Increase as Follows: a. Water Base Rates *all base rates for water recommended to see a 10% increase. b. Sewer Base Rates *all categories have a 10% increase recommendation. c. Industrial (currently no rate) $3.19 per thousand gallons up to 20,000, next 10,000 gallons, $3.50 per thousand gallons over 30,000 gallons, $3.85 per thousand gallons. d. Industrial (currently no rates) 5/8 or ¾ meter $27.50, 1 inch meter $61.60, 1 ½ inch meter $124.30, 2-inch meter $199.10, 3-inch meter $363.58, 4-inch meter $625.44, 6-inch meter $1,249.80 e. Sewer Usage Rates f. Residential (no increase) $6.21 per thousand gallons, based on water usage g. Multi-Family Residential (currently $7.75) new rate $8.27 per thousand gallons h. Commercial (currently $8.08) new rate $8.88, per thousand gallons i. Industrial (currently no rate) new rate $9.76, per thousand gallons
