The Council will consider Ordinance No. 1685 An Ordinance of the City of Panama City Beach, Florida, Amending Chapter 7 of the City’s Code of Ordinances Relating to Lifeguard Permits and Sexual Offender and Sexual Predator Registry Screening; Amending Chapter 16 of the City Code Relating to Sexual Offender and Sexual Predator Residency Restrictions, Public Swimming Pools, Property-owner Rental Restrictions; Creating Section 16-64 to Include State-law Child Protection Restrictions; Repealing All Ordinances in Conflict; Providing for Severability; Scrivener’s Errors; Liberal Interpretation; Modifications; Codification; and Providing for an Effective Date.
