Miami, FL to Consider Ordinance Affecting Contracts with Government Entities & Reporting Requirements
The Commission will consider An Ordinance of the Miami City Commission Amending Chapter 18/article Iii of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as Amended ("City Code"), Titled “finance/city of Miami Procurement Ordinance,” by Amending Sections 18- 73 and 18-111, Titled “definitions,” and “contracts of Other Governmental Entities,” Respectively, to Define “cooperative Purchasing Organization,” and Authorize The City Manager to Utilize Competitively Awarded Contracts of Other Governmental Entities and Cooperative Purchasing Organizations Subject to Specified Conditions, Reporting, and Commission Notice For Certain Purchases; Containing a Severability Clause; and Providing for an Immediate Effective Date.
