Hadley, FL to Hold Discussion Regarding Marijuana Retail Licenses
The Select Board will consider whether to recommend to the Planning Board that the Town of Hadley limit the number of adult use marijuana retail licenses as allowed by law. Limiting the number of licenses for adult use marijuana retail sales will require both a town meeting vote and a ballot vote. The Hadley Board of Health is reviewing draft regulations to govern the public health aspects of adult use marijuana retail establishments. A Board of Health public hearing on proposed regulations will be held in August or September. The Town of Hadley has a zoning moratorium on adult use marijuana facilities until November 30, 2018.
