Miami-Dade County, FL Adopts Ordinance Regarding Regulations for Dogs in Public Areas
The County Commission adopted an ordinance pertaining to animals; amending regulations on dogs in public areas; amending section 5-20 of the code.

04/29/10The County Commission will hold a second reading at the 5/4/10 meeting.
01/20/10The County Commission will hold a first reading at the 1/21/10 meeting. A public hearing before the Health, Public Safety and Intergovernmental Committee is tentatively scheduled for 6/8/2010.

Additional information: Each lobbyist is required to submit a Certificate of Completion of an Ethics Course approved by the Miami-Dade County Ethics Commission to the Clerk of the Board within sixty (60) days after registering as a lobbyist. Lobbyists who have completed the initial Ethics Course mandated by the preceding sentence and have continuously registered as a lobbyist thereafter shall be required to complete a refresher Ethics Course every two years and submit to the Clerk of the Board a Certificate of Completion within sixty (60) days after registering as a lobbyist. The Ethics Course shall include, but not be limited to, a review of the following topics: the Conflict of Interest and Code of Ethics Ordinance; the Sunshine Law; and the Public Records Law.
