Charlotte County, FL Adopts Year-Round Water Conservation Ordinance
The County Commission will consider adoption of a Charlotte County year-round water
conservation ordinance. The purpose of the "year-round water conservation" ordinance is to protect the County's water resources from over-use during periods of water shortage and to allocate available water supplies. The ordinance applies to all areas of the County subject to the water shortage conditions or water shortage emergency, except the City of Punta Gorda and the use of reclaimed water.
