Winter Park, FL Approves Request to Increase Special Event Rental Rates for Parks to Allow for Recycling Surcharge The City Commission approved a request to increase the special event rental rates for parks to allow for a recycling surcharge. Many of the special events that take place in the parks produce a large amount
of trash, much of which is recyclable. By increasing the special event rental rates for the parks by 10% they can provide
recycling bins for each event and mandate that every event recycles on their
property.
