Coral Gables, FL Adopts Ordinance Amending the Zoning Code Regarding Rooftop Screening Requirements
The City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 2009-16 amending Zoning Code Article 4, Section 4-201, design regulations, #17, "Rooftop screening", and Article 5, Sections 5-603 "Specific standards", 5-1801 "Solar water heaters and equipment", 5-1802 "Screening of rooftop equipment" and 5-1804 "Air-conditioning units and equipment, and other types of mechanical equipment or apparatus installed on or attached to premises". Six separate zoning code text amendments clarifying/amending requirements for the screening of mechanical equipment.

02/09/09The City Commission will hold a first reading at the 2/10/09 meeting. If approved, a second reading date has been set for 2/24/09.
