Ft. Myers, FL to Hold Public Hearing of Ordinance Affecting the Commencement Date for Mandatory Recycling The City Council adopted Ordinance No. 3502,
amending the City Code, chapter 70, Solid Waste, and creating article IV. Mandatory Recycling of Residential, Commercial, Non-Profit Entity, Special Events, Multi-Family Solid Waste, Construction and Demolition. The City Council will now consider Ordinance No.
3526 amending the commencement date for mandatory recycling from 10/1/09 to 1/1/2010.
