Bay County, FL Adopts Ordinances to increase the Tourist Development Tax Rate and Amend the Bay County Tourist Development Plan The Board of County Commissioners adopted ordinances to: 1) increase in the tourist development tax rate and 2) amend the Bay County Tourist Development Plan for FY 2009 and 2010. The four-cent tax takes effect 3/1/09, the five-cent tax takes effect 4/1/09.

For items not on the agenda, there is a public speaking portion at the end of the meeting. To set up a meeting with a Commissioner call 850-248-8142. However one-on-one meetings are not allowed, due to the Sunshine Law.
