Polk County, FL to Consider Ordinance Affecting Gas Station Uses in High Impact Commercial Land Use Districts

The Commission will SET HEARING (LDCT-2026-16 Wahneta Neighborhood Plan Gas Station Text Amendment) to consider the adoption of a applicant-initiated ordinance amending the Land Development Code regarding allowing “Gas Station” within the High-Impact Commercial Center-X (HICX) land use districts. Suggested hearing date for the first reading is November 3, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. and the second reading on December 1, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. (No Fiscal Impact)
