Cooper City, FL to Consider Resolution Approving Energy Savings Agreement with Energy Systems Group, LLC

Resolution 25-74 was previously presented to the City Commission for approval to authorize the execution of a Project Development Agreement between the City of Cooper City and Energy Systems Group, LLC (ESG), to evaluate and identify potential energy savings opportunities for City facilities and infrastructure. At the December 9, 2025, Commission meeting, Commissioner Shrouder voiced concerns about parts of the agreement and requested more information and clarification before moving forward. Since then, staff has worked with Commissioner Shrouder to address and resolve those concerns. Commissioner Shrouder has now requested that Resolution 25-74 be brought back before the City Commission for reconsideration and approval.
