Ocoee, FL to hold public hearing and second reading of Ordinance affecting Human Signs

The City Commission will consider an ordinance affecting human signs. In recent months the Commission and Ocoee Community Redevelopment Agency have observed an increase in the number of human signs in the city. An ordinance to regulate human signage will be considered.

Issue History
04/17/17 The City Commission will hold a public hearing and second reading at the 4/18/17 meeting.
03/20/17 The City Commission will hold a first reading at the 3/21/17 meeting. The second reading and public hearing are tentatively scheduled for 4/4/17.

Any member wishing to speak at a meeting on general topics (not specific items on the agenda) will be asked to fill out a speaker form, available here, and turn it in to the Mayor or City Clerk prior to or during the public comments section. The Mayor will call each speaker and you will be given five minutes to speak. Persons wishing to speak regarding specific items that are Public Hearings, will be given the opportunity to speak when that item is being heard.
