Jacksonville, FL to consider adoption of Ordinance regarding Landscape Irrigation Regulations

The City Council will consider ordinance 2016-404 amending chapter 366 (groundwater resource management), ordinance code, part 5, (water conservation and landscape irrigation), amending section 366.502 (landscape irrigation intent, jurisdiction and purpose) to clarify jurisdictional applicability; amending section 366.503 (definitions) to amend the definition for "landscape irrigation", and to add new subsections and definitions for "non14 residential landscape irrigation" and "residential landscape irrigation"; amending section 366.504 (landscape irrigation schedule) to amend provision for irrigation wells where reclaimed water is available; amending section 366.505 (exceptions to landscape irrigation schedule) to include bubbler irrigation in the exceptions, and to amend the watering schedule for the use of recycled water from wet detention treatment ponds.
