Satellite Beach, FL to Hold Second Reading and Public Hearing on Ordinance Affecting Delinquent Tax Collection

The Council will consider Ordinance No. 1114, amending Section 58-93 (A) (Local Business Tax Receipt Required) and 68-96(A) (Sale; Delinquency; Penalty for Doing Business without Local Business Tax Revert) to amend the departmental responsibilities for local business tax receipt process. Specifically, the amendments allow for transfer of BTR responsibilities to the Building Department.
