Miami, FL to continue First Reading of Ordinance to provide for the Deferral of Building Permit Fees for Affordable and Workforce Housing

The City Commission will consider an ordinance of the Miami City Commission amending chapter 10/article i, of the code of the city of Miami, Florida, as amended, entitled "Buildings/In General," more particularly by amending section 10-5, to provide for the deferral of building permit fees for affordable and workforce housing.

Issue History

11/18/15 The City Commission will hold a first reading at the 11/19/15 meeting.

Additional information: The Lobbyist Registration form is available here. Lobbyists shall pay all registration fees ($525.00 annually, plus $105.00 for each principal represented and for each issue a lobbyist has been retained to lobby on behalf of any one principal), and specifically define the issue for which they are employed. The Clerk shall reject any statement which does not detail the issue for which the lobbyist has been employed. Each lobbyist, within 60 days after registering as a lobbyist, shall submit a certificate of completion of an ethics course provided by the Miami-Dade County Commission on Ethics & Public Trust or City of Miami.
