City: Bonita Springs Bonita Springs, FL to Hold Public Hearing and Second Reading of Ordinance to require Smart Irrigation and Florida Friendly Design Standards The City Council will consider an ordinance amending the city's landscape code, to adopt appendix f, irrigation standards of the plumbing portion of the Florida Building Code; to require smart irrigation and landscape practices; updating the code to require smart irrigation and Florida Friendly Design Standards.
Issue History 12/15/15 The City Council will hold a public hearing and second reading at the 12/16/2015 meeting. 11/30/15 The City Council will hold a first reading and public hearing at the 12/2/2015 meeting. 11/17/15 At the 11/18/15 meeting, the City Council will consider a request to advertise the ordinance. Public hearings are tentatively scheduled for 12/2/15 and 12/16/15.
