Pembroke Pines, FL to hold First Reading of DRI Ordinance regarding a Development Order for the Pembroke Lakes Regional Center amending the Master Development Plan

The City Commission will consider ordinance no. 2015-19 amending ordinance no. 789, originally adopted on June 11, 1986, as amended by ordinance no. 950, adopted on April 19, 1991, ordinance no. 986, adopted on march 4, 1992, ordinance no. 1051, adopted on October 6, 1993, and ordinance no. 1508, adopted on January 19, 2005, which approved a development order for the Pembroke Lakes Regional Center Development of Regional Impact ("DRI"); amending the DRI in order to extend the buildout and downzoning dates for the DRI from June 1, 2016 until June 1, 2021; and an amendment to the master development plan to transfer 1,500 square feet of existing approved undeveloped retail use from parcel a (main mall parcel) to parcel d (southeast portion of mall where Target is located); providing for findings of fact and conclusions of law.

Issue History
10/07/15 The City Commission will hold a first reading at the 10/7/15 meeting, 6:30 pm. A second reading is tentatively scheduled for 11/4/15.
