City: Green Cove Springs Green Cove Springs, FL to hold Public Hearing and Final Reading of Ordinances regarding additional Homestead Exemption for Low-Income Senior Citizens The City Council will consider Ordinance No. 0-12-2015 adding City Code Section 66-126 establishing an additional Homestead Exemption in an amount up to $50,000 for certain qualifying low-income senior citizens pursuant to Section 196.075, Florida Statutes, to be applied to Ad Valorem Taxes levied by the City of Green Cove Springs. The City Council will also consider Ordinance No. 0-13-2015 adding City Code Section 66-127 establishing an additional Homestead Exemption in an amount of the assessed value of the property for certain qualifying, long-term resident, low-income senior citizens who are maintaining their permanent residence and having a just value less than $250,000, pursuant to Section 196.075, Florida Statutes, to be applied to Ad Valorem Taxes levied by the City of Green Cove
