Titusville, FL to hold Public Hearing and Second Reading of Ordinance regarding various proposed amendments to the Building Code

The City Council will consider Ordinance No. 16-2015 amending Chapter 6, Building
Code. In revising and updating the Florida Building Code, staff identified numerous references to
requirements that are either redundant, out dated technically, or in direct conflict with the Code
requiring deletion or some adjustment in the language. References and amendments to the
Standard Building Code were eliminated, as it is no longer the minimum standard mandated
(being out of publication now for 10 years or more).
