Davie, FL to Consider Ordinance Affecting Vacant Property Registrations
This Ordinance amendment and creation establishes a program for identification, registration, and monitoring of vacant and defaulted mortgaged properties. Provides updated definitions for the terms in the ordinance, to align for Florida Statues. Provides the requirements for information with each registration. Provides for inspection requirements. Creates a registration fee schedule, which is $325.00 per registration per year. There are no proration or refunds. Provides for enforcement and penalties, which shall be $100.00 per day per violation. Provides for exemptions, which shall be structures owned by federal, state, County, and the Town.
