Kissimmee, FL to Consider Repealing the Pain Management Establishment & Pharmacies Ordinance
Chapter 10, Businesses and Business Regulations, Article VIII, Pain Management Establishments and Pharmacies, Divisions 1 through 4, Sections 10-406 through 10-467, outlines the operational procedures and reporting requirements for specified pain management businesses operating within the City. After the ordinance's adoption, the State of Florida established similar reporting requirements for such businesses, rendering the ordinance's reporting rules redundant and obsolete. After consultation with Police Department Staff, Legal, and Developmental Services, City Staff has determined that the ordinance is no longer necessary.
