The Commission will consider An Ordinance of the Mayor and City Commission of The City of North Miami Beach, Florida, Regulating The Ownership and Operation of Motorized Scooters; Providing Definitions; Requiring Registration; Imposing an Application Fee and the Issuance and Display of a Motorized Scooter Registration Decal; Providing for Transfer of Decals; Addressing Stolen, Lost, Mutiated, Destroyed or Illegible Motorized Scooter Registration Decals; Providing Requirements and Restrictions; Providing for Penalties and Enforcement and an Effective Date of Enforcement; Establishing an Age Restriction for the Operation Of Motorized Scooters; Requiring Governmentissued Photographic Identification for the Operation of Motorized Scooters; Providing for Codification, Conflicts, Scrivener’s Errors, Severability, and an Effective Date.
