Lee County, FL to Consider Replacing the Animal Control Ordinance
The Commission Authorizes advertisement for and conducting of a Public Hearing on December 2, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in Chambers to consider repealing and replacing Lee County Animal Control Ordinance 14-22. The proposed Ordinance repeals and replaces the existing ordinance and provides comprehensive changes to rules related to Animal Control and Services, changes to definitions, and maintaining a conflicts of law, severability, codification and scrivener’s errors sections, and any modifications that may arise from consideration at public hearing, and an effective date.
