Sunny Isles Beach, FL to Consider Ordinance Establishing When Speed Detection Systems are Utilized
As part of our ongoing commitment to pedestrian safety, the police department is taking proactive steps to protect students, parents, and staff traveling to and from Norman S. Edelcup K-8 School each school day. To support these efforts, Speed Detection Systems will be implemented as an additional tool to help reduce speeding and improve public safety in school zones. These systems are designed to encourage safer driving behaviors and create a more secure environment for everyone in our community.

Lobbying Information

Require lobbyist registration? Yes Lobbyist registration fee? $250 Additional information: Pursuant to Ordinance No. 2006-260, The “Lobbyist Registration” Ordinance, all lobbyists shall register with the City Clerk prior to engaging in lobbying activities within the City. The annual fee for registering shall be $250. There is also a $100 annual fee for principal registration. In addition, each lobbyist shall be required to file an annual expenditure report detailing the preceding year's expenditures by January 15th. The Lobbyist Registration form is available here.
